ATHENA of the Triangle Programs

ATHENAPowerLink® is a 12-month, trademarked program that guides women-owned businesses in the Triangle area and helps expand profitably through the use of professional advisory panels.  The proven mentoring process “links” a business with a customized board of advisors recruited from among community leaders (men and women) to help them achieve measurable success in their areas of interest. 

ATHENA of the Triangle Emerging Leaders

The ATHENA Emerging Leaders program is a collaborative forum for developing leadership skills through a series of 2-hour workshops focused developing on mentoring and leadership skills using the ATHENA Leadership Model. Each workshop focuses on one of the eight ATHENA leadership principles with expert curriculum, small group activities, and a local leader who exemplifies the principle.

ATHENAPowerLink® is a 12-month, trademarked program that guides women-owned businesses in the Triangle area and helps expand profitably through the use of professional advisory panels. The proven mentoring process “links” a business with a customized board of advisors recruited from among community leaders (men and women) to help them achieve measurable success in their areas of interest.

The ATHENA Leadership Award Program celebrates exemplary leadership in women and men who have demonstrated excellence and innovation in their businesses or professions, provide valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community, and actively assist women in achieving their full leadership potential.

Since the program’s inception in 1982, the program has honored over 7,000 recipients with the ATHENA Leadership Award. Presented to leaders across professional sectors, the ATHENA Leadership Award Program rich history, international scope, and focus on mentorship distinguish it as one of the most prestigious leadership award.
