ATHENA of the Triangle is more than a nonprofit; it’s a movement. For ten years, we have stayed true to our mission’s work to support, develop, and honor emerging and established leaders and their allies. Through our programs, events, and partnerships, we have fostered a community of strong, empowered women who are changing the face of leadership in the Triangle area and beyond.

Established in 2014, ATHENA of the Triangle (AoT) an affiliate of ATHENA International, Inc. provides innovative programming in leadership development and entrepreneurial skill building for women leaders in the Triangle. Our programs include our very successful year-long ATHENA PowerlinkⓇ program for entrepreneurs, the ATHENA Enlightened Leaders workshop series, and our ATHENA in STEM program which serves middle and high school girls interested in STEM related fields. Additionally, we have hosted the ATHENA Leadership Luncheon annually since 2016 and added the ATHENA Leadership Awards program to the event in 2021. Our newest program, the ATHENA Leadership Conference, launched in March 2022. We are proud of our success in expanding how and who we serve.
